Director of Patient Safety - Asheville, NC - KPNC - (Full-Time/ Direct Hire)
About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Director of Patient Safety for an exciting Travel or Local job in Asheville, NC. This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position with a Day Shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with no weekends required. The Director will lead hospital-wide patient safety strategies and initiatives, develop and implement systems to reduce preventable patient harm, and promote high-reliability practices and a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and mitigating patient safety risks, collaborating with leadership on safety priorities, developing and delivering patient safety education programs, monitoring and reporting safety performance, supporting risk management and compliance, promoting patient and family engagement, and leading a multidisciplinary safety team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field
- Experience in patient safety (not only quality)
- CPPS certification (or obtain within 1 year)
- Strong leadership and healthcare systems experience
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in related field
- 3–5 years healthcare experience in patient safety, risk management, or quality
- Clinical background preferred
