Building relationships involves establishing and nurturing positive customer rapport at all levels across Washington. Driving success includes conducting business performance reviews with distributor leadership to achieve state plans. Collaboration with Brown-Forman National Account Teams and Regional Distributor Account Teams is essential for flawless execution of Independent and Chain programs. Innovation involves working with Brown-Forman teams to communicate cutting-edge programs and execution plans to distributors and customers. The role champions brands by developing and executing on-premise brand-building plans in collaboration with the distributor in Washington. Winning at the point of purchase involves championing the on-premise effort, ensuring superior distributor execution of brand initiatives. Connecting with and influencing key external contacts, including distributor partners, retailers, consumers, and agencies, is also a key aspect. Planning and analysis involve strategizing to gather local market feedback for specific brand plans, setting clear objectives and priorities, coordinating communication of plan adjustments based on market performance, and managing budget responsibilities. Distributor and Agency Management includes developing and ensuring the proper activation of all on-premise programs, overseeing the execution of on-premise pull programming and all branded initiatives, executing the Brown-Forman business plan with the on-premise team, and managing third-party promotion agencies for on-premise.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in the beverage alcohol and/or beverage industry with a proven track record of meeting key metrics and a strong, consistent presence in the market with key accounts and customers.
  • Strong coaching and sales training skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, while actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with leaders across various channels, functions, and geographies.
  • Able to prioritize the overall Brown-Forman business needs above specific territory or team needs.
  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Capability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Systems Proficiency i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and/or other business operations software.
