About The Position

At Bank of America, this role supports a cluster of financial centers in designated markets when the assigned financial center manager is absent and serves as a resource at the market level. The manager operates as a business owner, fosters a team environment, and promotes a client-centric and risk-aware culture. The role drives operational excellence and ensures financial centers operate effectively and cohesively. The position may include responsibility for managing associates. Managers at this level are expected to create an inclusive team, promote process knowledge and data-driven decisions, communicate clearly, manage risk, coach and develop teammates, manage expenses, recruit and develop talent, and deliver business outcomes through effective team management and routines. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The schedule is first shift, 40 hours per week, and requires availability to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market.

Requirements

At least one year of leadership experience demonstrated through coaching, training, and/or motivating a work team.
Ability to influence and collaborate with people outside of reporting authority to achieve shared goals.
Customer service skills and ability to resolve problems independently or escalate as needed to promote customer satisfaction.
Strong financial and business acumen, including experience leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability.
Record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals.
Strong interpersonal skills, including engaging others in dialogue, building and deepening relationships, and providing personalized service.
Strong organizational skills, including managing multiple responsibilities, prioritizing, and delegating while delivering results.
Strong verbal, non-verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, as well as active listening skills.
Proficiency with computer skills and professional programs such as Microsoft Office.
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market.
High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

One year of management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
Experience in consumer banking or financial services, mortgage, retail, and/or hospitality.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Fluent verbal and written bilingual skills.
