Mortenson is looking for a Market Executive responsible for providing overall management for business development, successful customer relations, strategic and operational direction. This role involves understanding market priorities, insights, influences, and potential disruptors, as well as strategically analyzing market trends and developing plans for understanding customers and winning work. The Market Executive will lead business development within a specific market in partnership with others, develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners, and become familiar with customer project estimates to facilitate discussions. They will also establish and maintain strong customer and community relationships within the Life Sciences market, conduct key customer service visits throughout projects, act as the primary customer contact, and maintain customer relationships to be aware of current and future projects. Additionally, this role provides leadership to project teams within the specific market, reviews their work, mentors and manages team members, develops team members for future career consideration and training, and effectively works and builds relationships with diverse individuals. The Market Executive will lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance, using the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project success.
