About The Position

This role is for a De'Longhi Market Development Representative, focusing on the Ajax, Pickering, and Whitby areas of Ontario. It is a part-time position requiring 26 hours per week. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, who enjoys working independently and educating customers about premium products. A passion for coffee and small home appliances is a plus. This role is suitable for recent graduates looking to start a career in sales or individuals with existing sales experience. Requirements

  • Superior communication and presentation skills.

  • Ideally 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience; or training experience.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Full access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key store personnel.
  • Build brand loyalty and credibility with retail sales associates, acting as the Brand Champion.
  • Travel within the assigned market to visit all stores in the territory according to the designated frequency.
  • Ensure in-store marketing standards are maintained to increase brand awareness.
  • Engage customers during high traffic times at select 'demo day' events to drive sales of brand products.
  • Facilitate informal, formal, and large-scale trainings to retail associates and managers.
  • Attend and assist with out-of-market trainings and events.
  • Provide merchandising services, including POS setup, and ensure compliance verification and competitive details.
  • Gather in-market and out-of-market intelligence and provide field insights.
  • Maintain product displays and ensure product functionality while in-store.
