As a Market Development Manager – Retail Wine & Spirits, you’ll play a critical role in maximizing the sale and distribution of Gallo brands by bringing sales and marketing strategies to life in retail accounts. You’ll partner closely with distributor sales representatives, district managers, and account teams to execute monthly programs, close performance gaps, and deliver sustainable growth across priority brands and accounts. Your ability to plan strategically, make thoughtful decisions, and focus time where it matters most will directly influence results in the market. In this role, you’ll analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and share insights that shape business decisions. You’ll train and coach distributor personnel, motivate teams through programs and initiatives, and ensure standards are consistently reinforced. Collaboration is key, as you’ll work cross-functionally with marketing and commerce teams to activate relevant materials and support consumer engagement efforts. You’ll also serve as a Gallo ambassador in your community, building strong relationships, hosting events, and leveraging digital tools to promote our portfolio.
