As a Market Development Manager for Retail Spirits, you’ll champion the growth of Gallo’s spirits portfolio across key retail accounts by driving execution, strengthening distributor capability, and activating strategic sales and marketing initiatives. You will spend the majority of your time in the field partnering with distributor representatives and managers, helping them close performance gaps, accelerate points of distribution, and elevate their understanding of Gallo brands. Through strong time ‑ management and choiceful decision making, you will prioritize the highest value opportunities each month to ensure that efforts translate into measurable results. You’ll gather and interpret market intelligence—spotting trends, identifying pricing opportunities, and sharing critical insights with leadership to advance brand performance. Your work will connect cross ‑ functional teams, align distributor execution with brand and state strategies, and engage retail partners with digital tools, consumer activation, and e ‑ retail solutions. Acting as a Gallo ambassador, you’ll build strong relationships across all levels of accounts and distributor organizations. You will motivate and train teams, champion innovation, host events, support digital marketing initiatives, and bring a future ‑ focused, entrepreneurial mindset to every interaction. This role blends field leadership, data ‑ driven decision making, and relationship ‑ building to elevate Gallo’s spirits business in your market.
