About The Position

BRCGS is a trusted global brand delivering assurance solutions that help organisations build confidence across their supply chains. Part of LGC Assure, our certification, training and digital solutions support businesses in more than 130 countries to improve food safety, quality and operational excellence. As our Market Development Manager for Europe, you'll take ownership of developing BRCGS across Central and Western Europe, creating and delivering market strategies that increase certification adoption, strengthen relationships with Certification Bodies and key industry partners, and drive sustainable commercial growth. Working closely with commercial, marketing and product teams, you'll identify new opportunities, recover underperforming markets and help protect BRCGS' position as the leading global brand in supply chain assurance.

Requirements

• Experience in business development, market development or commercial growth across multiple European markets.
• A consistent record of delivering revenue growth within a B2B services environment.
• Experience working within certification, assurance, compliance, food safety, testing, inspection or a related sector
• Confidence developing relationships with senior leaders, strategic partners and large customer organisations.
• Strong commercial competence with experience managing pipelines, forecasting and delivering against revenue targets.
• The ability to analyse market trends and translate insight into practical commercial plans.
• Experience working across cultures and markets, adapting your approach while maintaining a consistent strategy.
• Fluency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing regional growth strategies across European markets.
• Building positive relationships with Certification Bodies, retailers, manufacturers and strategic partners to increase adoption of BRCGS programmes.
• Identifying new commercial opportunities whilst protecting existing market share through proactive customer engagement.
• Analysing market trends, competitor activity and customer insight to shape regional priorities.
• Managing a healthy sales pipeline, accurately forecasting opportunities, and achieving ambitious growth targets.
• Supporting recovery plans in markets facing challenges and turning commercial insight into measurable results.
• Collaborating with Marketing, Product and Commercial colleagues to ensure customer feedback influences future products and campaigns.
• Representing BRCGS at customer meetings, industry events and conferences across Europe.
