About The Position

The Marker Maker is responsible for reviewing and verifying markers to ensure accuracy with customer orders and timely completion for both commercial and military orders, aligning with the production schedule. This role requires confirming that markers match the correct model and specifications, including size, quantity, color, fabric width, and working sample. The Marker Maker will utilize the Accumark system for optimal marker layout efficiency and prepare mini markers (maps) with all necessary details for the cutting room. Additionally, the role involves sending finalized markers to plotters for printing, exporting cut file data to the Cutting Room, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Adherence to company safety and quality standards, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work area, are essential. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to comprehend basic work and safety instructions in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Accumark software.
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for this role.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) to comply with federal contracting regulations.
Must be a US person as defined by ITAR.
All candidates must be fluent in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write at a professional level.

Responsibilities

Review and verify markers to ensure accuracy with customer orders.
Ensure timely completion of markers for both commercial and military orders in alignment with the production schedule.
Confirm that markers match the correct model and specifications, including size, quantity, color, fabric width, and working sample.
Use the Accumark system to lay out pieces for optimal marker efficiency.
Prepare mini markers (maps) with all necessary details for the cutting room to execute work orders properly.
Send finalized markers to plotters for printing.
Export cut file data to the Cutting Room for production.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Adhere to company safety and quality standards at all times.
Keep the work area clean and safe.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
