About The Position

QED is seeking candidates for maritime industry trades including Ship Fitter, Welder, Pipe Fitter, Electrician, Outside Machinist, HFC Mechanic, Sheet Metal Mechanic, Painter, and Laborer. Employees will use appropriate trade methods and processes to complete assigned tasks and perform other duties as assigned. Five years of experience is preferred but not required. The position pays $18–$35 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the relevant trade.
• Ability to provide basic hand tools.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be eligible for a government security clearance.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must complete alcohol/drug testing and background investigations before hiring.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of experience is preferred but not required.
