About The Position

The Marina Attendant works at Three Waters Resort & Marina in Islamorada, Florida, and is part of the resort’s waterfront guest experience. The role is a first point of contact for boating guests and supports safe, satisfying, and memorable experiences on the water. Duties include helping guests with boat rentals and docking, coordinating reservations, maintaining the marina, and supporting marina events and activities. This position requires a passion for boating and water activities, strong guest-service and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Weekend, holiday, and evening availability may be needed. Previous marina or hospitality experience is a plus.

Requirements

Strong passion for boating, water sports, and outdoor activities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of boating regulations and safety procedures.
Ability to swim and perform basic water rescues if required.
Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in marina operations or the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests with boat rentals, docking, and fueling.
Answer guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to support guest satisfaction.
Assist with boat inspections and maintenance to help ensure vessels are safe and seaworthy.
Monitor the marina area for safety and security.
Coordinate and schedule boat reservations.
Provide guidance and instructions on boating regulations and safety procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the marina area.
Assist with marina-related special events and activities.
