About The Position

The Collateral Services Team supports bilateral OTC derivative collateral requirements and related settlements. As a Margin and Collateral Analyst within Market Operations, you will primarily serve buy-side clients, including hedge funds and investment advisors or asset managers. You will develop partnerships with internal teams and colleagues across Marketing and Sales, Prime Brokerage, Credit, Middle Office, and Line of Business Operations. The role contributes to clients’ businesses and provides insight into the firm’s operations, while supporting ideas and improvements that increase client-service productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process outgoing and incoming margin calls efficiently and accurately, and provide clients with transparency on margin calls when needed.
• Ensure agreed transfers are eligible under the applicable legal document.
• Respond to client inquiries and coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, and core processing teams to resolve issues when needed.
• Identify and resolve client disputes involving collateral and trade-settlement discrepancies.
• Mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risk.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with internal partners and external clients.
• Work independently under strict deadlines with limited supervision while remaining client-focused and control-oriented.
