About The Position

Driveway Finance Corporation (DFC), part of Lithia & Driveway, provides customer-focused automotive financing solutions for retail and commercial clients. The Collateral Analyst I works with the Collateral Management team to locate and process collateral and assist with recovering it from customers. The role uses skip-tracing tools and software to identify customer and vehicle locations, communicates location information to recovery vendors, and contacts customers to collect and negotiate repayment terms on delinquent accounts. This hybrid position is based in Tigard or Medford, Oregon, with three days in the office and two days working from home. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay is $23–$25 per hour.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, and Windows-based systems.

Nice To Haves

One year of collections experience.
Auto lending or repossession experience.
Knowledge of skip-tracing techniques.
Experience with outbound calls or collections.

Responsibilities

Review and accurately update DFC’s repossession log.
Assign repossession vehicles to third-party recovery agents in a timely manner.
Use skip-tracing practices to obtain customer and vehicle location information.
Consistently provide third-party vendors with the most recent location data for assigned collateral.
Navigate and update third-party repossession assignment systems.
Make outbound collection attempts by phone, mail, and email to resolve delinquent accounts ethically.
Meet or exceed established call-volume and account-action requirements.
Process recovery cost analyses and KBB information for recovered vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
