Marching Band Instructor - Open Pool

About The Position
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance seeks part-time, temporary Marching Band Instructors to teach specialized courses in the music division. Students learn unique choreography for dance performances and competitions to be held in conjunction with CSU's Marching Band performances and/or competitions. The successful candidate will be experienced in Dance Team and Color Guard drills and techniques. Evening and weekend commitments are required. In-state and out-of-state travel may be required.
Requirements
- Prior experience performing and teaching Dance Team and Color Guard drills and techniques.
Nice To Haves
- Documented experience working with a Marching Band at the college or university level.
Responsibilities
- Teaching assignment in Marching Band, teaching dance technique and choreography and/or related topics, based on departmental need.
- Service to the Music program.
- Office Hours are required.
