Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Manufacturing and training experience required
  • Verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Year technical degree preferred
  • Previous experience training in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training of newly hired production employees on processes for their assigned production area
  • Perform operational improvements and skill development activities with current employees
  • Create training aids in support of the Rinnai training methodology
  • Perform training evaluation, documentation, and record keeping
  • Audit skill levels of employees for quality, safety, and production efficiency improvement
  • Ensure the OJT training process is consistently followed and implemented
  • Evaluate and review training progress with trainees
  • Analyze the knowledge and skills required to meet job expectations, make recommendations on training solutions to close performance gaps and monitor development
  • Coach and train team leaders and group leaders on OJT training process
  • Communicates trainee performance and behavioral issues with management
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current manufacturing processes and production methods
  • Keep current with the latest manufacturing processes and industry technology tools
  • Maintain required production skill levels in training process areas
  • Ensure compliance with Rinnai quality and safety standards are maintained for ISO certification for manufacturing
  • Promotes adherence to training standards, evaluation methodologies, training plans, documents, and record keeping
  • Maintain training records and documents in LMS
  • Ability to utilize LMS capabilities for training records, documentation, and training evaluation levels
  • Awareness and compliance of Company Policies and Procedures
  • Additional tasks as assigned to ensure training and production needs are met
