About The Position

ASML is a leading manufacturer of lithography systems, with its San Diego-based light source division, Cymer, developing deep ultraviolet (DUV) and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources. The Manufacturing Test Engineer will assemble, test, calibrate, and qualify EUV systems in a complex manufacturing environment, working with various technologies including process gases, high-power lasers, optics, electronics, mechatronics, and control systems. This role is crucial for ensuring product quality and performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics
0–2 years of relevant experience (recent graduates welcome)
Strong engineering and physics fundamentals
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Self-motivated, inquisitive, and resourceful
Ability to make decisions based on benefit, risk, time constraints, and opportunity
Ability to multitask and prioritize, while staying organized and detailed oriented
Work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Nice To Haves

1 year of EUV source or semiconductor experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, calibrate, and qualify EUV systems and subcomponents
Execute system builds including hardware installation, alignment support, and verification
Operate and troubleshoot systems using advanced HW/SW tools
Diagnose and resolve issues to maintain production flow and quality standards
Document test results, failures, corrective actions, and improvements
Take ownership of assigned systems and proactively identify risks or deviations
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams
Maintain a safe working environment
