About The Position

This role is responsible for managing incoming work orders and inventory, booking and quoting trucking and shipping for the warehouse and field technicians, managing purchase orders, monitoring transportation, and creating invoices. The position also involves scheduling and coordinating the shipping of products and equipment, managing the insurance claim process, and completing paperwork for export orders. Additionally, the technician will assemble, test, and quality control all products, including audio racks and LMS racks, receive and track all RMAs to vendors, and repair RMA items in inventory. The role includes managing the shipping process for all open sales orders, assisting in the assembly and testing of used products for sales, and organizing and maintaining inventory and the warehouse. The technician will also be expected to take ownership and undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to operate fork lift and pallet jack
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use basic electrical testing equipment
• Ability to use tools including, drills, saws, sanders, nail guns and other basic tools
• Must be detail oriented and have a strong aptitude to learn various business software applications and technology solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
• Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
• Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and take on other duties as assigned
