About The Position

This role is responsible for managing incoming work orders and inventory, coordinating shipping and logistics for warehouse and field technicians, and handling various administrative tasks related to purchase orders, invoices, and export documentation. The position also involves hands-on work such as assembling, testing, and quality control of products, as well as receiving, tracking, and repairing RMA items. The technician will also assist in the assembly and testing of used products for sales and maintain the organization of the inventory and warehouse. The role requires a self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use basic electrical testing equipment
  • Ability to use tools including drills, saws, sanders, nail guns and other basic tools
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a strong aptitude to learn various business software applications and technology solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
  • Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming work orders and inventory
  • Book and quote trucking and shipping for the warehouse and field techs
  • Manage purchase orders, monitor transportation, and create invoices
  • Schedule and coordinate shipping of products and equipment
  • Manage insurance claim process
  • Complete paperwork on export orders
  • Assemble, test, and QC all products including audio racks and LMS racks
  • Receive and track all RMAs to vendors
  • Repair RMA items in inventory
  • Manage the process of shipping on all open SOs
  • Assist in assembly and testing of all used products processed for sales
  • Organize and maintain inventory and warehouse
  • Take ownership and take on other duties as assigned
