About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician plays a key role on the production floor, performing hands-on assembly, testing, and rework with a focus on quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery. Assemble and repair products that meet or exceed quality, customer, and company goals. We're open to candidates interested in either 1st shift, 2nd shift, or a weekend shift.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in a similar environment a plus, but not required
Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, or electrical equipment a plus
Strong fine motor skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
High attention to detail
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with an understanding of cleanliness standards
Basic computer skills a plus
Strong work ethic
Willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Dependable and consistent daily attendance
Drive to meet and exceed established goals
Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of a degree
1+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly
Soldering experience or certification
SAP or inventory system experience
Entry-level candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, no prior manufacturing experience required

Acceptance at this level is subject to interviewer discretion based on demonstrated work ethic and potential. This level begins in our introductory program, which includes an assessment period with the potential for increased compensation upon successful completion
Mechanical Technology Certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assemble, repair, and rework assemblies and circuit boards efficiently with minimal supervision, producing thorough and exact output
Assemble and test mechanical components using test equipment, fixtures, engineering drawings, and Manufacturing Assembly Procedure (MAP) instructions
Perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery
Perform functional testing on products using specialized test equipment
Support all areas of the production floor as required
Perform data collection using Microsoft Office products and current data collection methods
Maintain inventory and perform transactions accurately using our inventory control system
