About The Position

Join Cambridge Air Solutions as a Manufacturing Technician and work directly on the production line assembling high-quality commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their manufacturing career in a clean, organized, and growth-oriented environment. You will be responsible for assembling HVAC equipment using various hand and power tools, installing components according to specifications, and ensuring tasks are performed safely and efficiently. The position also involves maintaining equipment and the work environment, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality products. Collaboration with team members and leadership to meet production goals is essential, as is participation in Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts like 5S and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). You will also be encouraged to make improvements in your workspace as part of the company's lean program.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Assemble HVAC equipment using hand and power tools such as riveters, drills, caulk guns, and bolting equipment.
  • Install insulation and other components per build specifications.
  • Perform tasks safely and efficiently according to standard work instructions and cycle times.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and a clean work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to proactive safety activities.
  • Deliver high-quality, defect-free products.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts, including 5S, RCA, and other tools.
  • Support strategic goals and model positive team behaviors.
  • Make improvements in your workspace to make your job easier.
