About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician Lead to join our Refurb team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility. The Lead will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations and will be responsible for helping to lead day-to-day activities of the manufacturing team to ensure safety-focused, high-quality products are delivered on time. The lead role will require strong leadership and technical skills, will work hands-on, and train and develop the manufacturing team for ensuring vessels are safely deconned, disassembled, cleaned and reassembled per procedure as well as troubleshooting, and improvement of manufacturing processes to drive safety, quality, and efficiency. Shift schedule is Day shift M-F, 6am-3pm.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field or equivalent with mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
  • Safety and Quality are key in this role.
  • You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment which requires astute attention to detail.
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
  • Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP and PLC experience is a plus).
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to attain respirator certification.
  • Ability to wear a cleanroom suit.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your leadership skills and judicious safety focus to ensure the team follows Safety Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Use SAP to run production and maintenance schedules, complete work orders, transact inventory and print labels.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality and our Safety team to drive toward production goals that meet our customers’ expectations.
  • Work with multiple hazardous chemicals.
  • Operate various types of equipment in both a chemical and cleanroom environment.
  • Ensure work areas are properly maintained in adherence with 6S standards.
  • Demonstrate your high degree of accountability and integrity while achieving the best results possible.
  • Use your ability to actively seek solutions to problems and willingness to share your ideas with your team.
  • Demonstrate interest in continuing to learn as well as improve processes.
  • Adapt to change and work under pressure while keeping your safety, quality and efficiency focus.
