About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician in Trim & Drill uses various hand tools to trim rough edges of composite parts. The successful candidate will ensure that products are produced on time, safely, and meet or exceed quality standards.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum 6 months’ previous work experience in manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications to cut/form parts
  • Ability to use various hand tools (band saws, drills, rotary cutting disk, and air tools)
  • Ensure all necessary parts and materials are present
  • Visually inspect finished parts for quality
  • Clean part per specifications
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
  • Assist with standard operating procedures for all production operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Replace all tools and materials when job(s) are complete
  • Properly dispose of any/all hazardous materials
  • Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Utilize all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned
