About The Position

PharmaCann, Inc. is seeking energetic, results-driven individuals to join their rapidly growing team. The Trim Technician is responsible for preparing cannabis-based products for the next phase of processing. This role requires effective communication with supervisors and team members to achieve daily tasks, meet productivity goals, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with all regulations and standard operating procedures. The Trim Technician is expected to follow directions from supervisors and management and operate with the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.

Requirements

  • One and a half years of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements.
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of reading and math.
  • Demonstrates basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
  • Demonstrates oral and communication capability.
  • Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge and background in trimming preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by supervisors and management to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism.
  • Confirming METRC tags and data sets, as well as recording data for the Analytics and Post Harvest departments.
  • Follow standard operating procedures including but not limited to: methods of trimming, proper sequencing and tools, proper handling of plants, product, and waste materials.
  • Assist other departments to help facilitate additional and/or supplemental work such as Post Harvest dept tasks, Production dept tasks, cleaning, light maintenance, and other tasks as needed throughout the facility.

Benefits

  • The starting rate for this position is $19 an hour.
