Requirements

  • Technologist Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems, Industrial Design, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in the mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and piping system design in the pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries.
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience with industry-standard design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant 3D.
  • Specialized in piping and mechanical building design.
  • Sense of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems under the supervision of licensed professional engineers.
  • Develop coordinated 3D models and drawings using appropriate design tools such as Plant 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD, based on project needs.
  • Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, orthographic drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and material take-offs.
  • Support piping reroutes, tie-ins, and design revisions while maintaining drawing accuracy, coordination, and revision control.
  • Apply constructability, maintainability, and installation considerations throughout the design process.
  • Participate in client coordination.
  • Conduct site surveys and construction follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation, and structural disciplines.
