About The Position

Manufacturing Technician II THE ROLE: Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join our Refurb team. This position will be based at our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for high- quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly and troubleshooting of canisters as well as improvement of manufacturing processes to drive safety, quality, and efficiency. Shift schedule is2PM-11PM Monday-Friday WHAT YOU’LL DO: Utilize your mechanical skills and judicious safety focus to disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot containers in a hazardous chemical environment. Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures as you seek opportunities to continually improve our work processes and efficiency. Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality and our Safety team to drive toward production goals that meet our customers’ expectations. Demonstrate your high degree of accountability and integrity while achieving the best results possible. Use your ability to actively seek solutions to problems and willingness to share your ideas with your team; Demonstrate interest in continuing to learn as well as improve processes. Adapt to change and work under pressure while keeping your safety, quality and efficiency focus.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
  • Safety and Quality are key in this role.
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
  • Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP and PLC experience is a plus).
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to attain respirator certification.
