About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for supporting daily operations, including running daily equipment and process checks, and escalating issues as appropriate. This role requires technical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Requirements

  • Semiconductor manufacturing flow and cleanroom operations, a plus.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and properly escalate.
  • Able to be flexible, work independently, or in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Identify continuous process and system improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in using computers and manufacturing software systems preferred.
  • 3-years of relevant experience, with certification on multiple tools.
  • Experience with strict safety and quality standards.
  • Experience with process monitoring, data collection, and basic troubleshooting
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to production specifications and standard operating procedures to optimize yield and efficiency.
  • Support in the development and continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Assist engineers with experiments, process qualifications, and tool calibrations.
  • Monitor equipment/process and escalate issues as appropriate to minimize downtime and ensure processing in accordance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in a centralized repository.
  • Comply with company quality standards, industry regulations, and environmental health and safety policies.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and safety procedures to maintain a contamination-free environment.
  • Guide new technicians or operators as needed.
  • Certified to run a minimum of two tools and/or work centers independently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional areas as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
