About The Position

A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Tech Specialist Proc/Prod to support production and engineering teams by performing inspections, managing inventory, and assisting with assembly and testing. This role bridges design and physical builds, ensuring materials, components, and processes meet quality and technical standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a technician in a manufacturing, assembly, or engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Nice To Haves

5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering support environment may substitute for formal education.
Technical training, vocational certification, or an Associate degree in Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical first article inspections on incoming materials, verifying shipments against purchase orders and BOMs, and ensuring components meet technical specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and electrical requirements.
Manage inventory and kitting activities by tracking material levels, organizing stock, pulling kits for prototype and production builds, and communicating material availability or shortages to the team.
Support assembly and testing operations by assisting with product builds, executing validation protocols under engineering guidance, and accurately recording test data.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to refine processes, improve efficiency and quality, and offload routine technical tasks to support project timelines.
Follow technical documentation and guidelines to complete tasks independently, while maintaining an organized workspace and ensuring proper handling of tools and equipment.
