About The Position

As an Manufacturing Tech 2 at MKS, you will partner with Manufacturing Engineers to assist with New Product Introductions (NPI). In this role, you will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1 year of manufacturing or engineering support experience
• Experience in a production or industrial environment

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Visual Factory or other Process development instruction systems is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (assembly, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers with process development, improvement, and validation
• Support production floor activities, including troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process flow diagrams
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and supply chain
• Assist with new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change implementation
