Fluidstack•Austin, TX
•$260,700 - $293,700

About The Position

Fluidstack is hiring a Manufacturing Systems Manager to build and own the systems that support its manufacturing and supply chain operations. The role will extend NetSuite beyond finance to serve as the system of record for purchasing, inventory, MRP planning, and supplier data. It will establish Siemens Teamcenter as the company’s PLM and build connections between engineering and manufacturing bills of materials, engineering changes, and the ERP part master. The manager will integrate ERP and PLM with procurement, manufacturing execution, and forecasting tools; lead data migration and go-live according to the company’s build schedule; and continue to maintain and develop each system after launch. The role calls for close collaboration with buyers, planners, supply chain leaders, and finance, translating their workflows and system tradeoffs into practical decisions. Fluidstack describes its operating environment as autonomous, urgent, first-principles-driven, and high intensity.

  • Has deployed Siemens Teamcenter or connected a PLM system to an ERP, including BOM handoff and engineering change flow.
  • Has built systems used daily by buyers and planners and worked with them to align workflows with their needs.
  • Has owned a system after go-live and can describe data problems identified and fixed.
  • Can explain systems tradeoffs in plain language to supply chain leaders or the CFO and help reach a decision.

  • Experience with Arena or Windchill PLM.

  • Establish Siemens Teamcenter as the PLM system and create the eBOM-to-mBOM handoff, engineering change flow, and ERP-connected part master.
  • Integrate ERP and PLM with procurement tools, manufacturing execution systems, and models for forecasting lead times and demand.
  • Lead system data migration and go-live on timelines driven by the company’s build schedule.
  • Own systems after launch, maintain clean data, resolve issues, and deliver further releases as the business grows.
  • Work with buyers and planners to ensure system workflows reflect how they work.
  • Explain system tradeoffs to supply chain leaders and the CFO and help reach decisions.
