About The Position

The Manufacturing Support Specialist will support the manufacturing team day-to-day activities of the factory workflow. The role requires a detail-oriented individual to work closely with senior operation team members to monitor, evaluate, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing support role (line lead, shift lead, production assistant), providing operational and administrative assistance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, consolidate, verify, and enter manufacturing floor data into the ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate information in the ERP system, ensuring proper documentation of work orders, inventory, and production schedules.
  • Work with the product development team to add new items, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and routings as needed.
  • Assist in work order routing and scheduling priorities to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Support real-time problem-solving efforts related to material availability, production bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Generate and distribute reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) production metrics.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as a utility player within the Operations Team, assisting with various tasks and projects as they arise.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.
  • Assist with training production staff on data entry and system best practices.
  • Participate in inventory audits and material reconciliation efforts.
