About The Position

The Manufacturing Lead/Supervisor owns the day-to-day execution of BIORAY’s manufacturing operation. This seat exists to ensure production schedules are delivered on time while maintaining the quality, safety, compliance, equipment reliability, and operational discipline required to produce BIORAY products consistently. You own production output and the conditions that make reliable production possible. You lead the production team, maintain equipment performance, protect inventory accuracy, uphold GMP documentation, enforce quality and safety standards, and drive improvements that reduce waste and increase productivity. As BIORAY scales, manufacturing execution must remain disciplined, dependable, and aligned with established formulations and processes. This seat creates that accountability on the production floor and ensures resources, equipment, documentation, and people work together to deliver production goals. Within 6–12 months, the Manufacturing Supervisor is expected to establish a consistently reliable manufacturing operation where production schedules and output targets are met, equipment downtime is minimized, GMP records remain current and accurate, inventory supports uninterrupted production, quality and safety standards are consistently maintained, and the production team operates with clear accountability and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Supervisor is: Execution-Driven & Accountable | You own production performance and ensure schedules, standards, and commitments translate into consistent output. Quality & Compliance-Focused | You maintain disciplined adherence to GMP requirements, BPRs, SOPs, safety protocols, and established quality standards throughout manufacturing. Operationally Focused | You identify constraints, strengthen processes, maintain equipment reliability, and create the conditions for the production team to perform consistently.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or supervising manufacturing or production operations
  • Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and production documentation requirements
  • Experience executing production schedules and managing output targets
  • Experience with preventive maintenance coordination, equipment troubleshooting, and production downtime management
  • Experience maintaining raw material and finished goods inventory accuracy
  • Experience conducting or overseeing quality inspections, audits, corrective actions, and adherence to BPRs and SOPs
  • Ability to work with production and inventory management systems and standard business software
  • Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday in Irvine, California
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with a manufacturing and production environment

Responsibilities

  • Own on-time delivery of production schedules and output targets while maintaining quality standards and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Own equipment uptime and performance by ensuring preventive maintenance execution, rapid troubleshooting, and minimal production downtime.
  • Own creation, maintenance, and revision of production records and documentation to meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements that reduce waste, streamline workflows, and increase productivity.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring all team members follow safety protocols, regulatory compliance is met, and incidents are prevented.
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable all production team members to achieve production targets, develop capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Own raw material and finished goods inventory accuracy to prevent stockouts and ensure production continuity.
  • Ensure product quality meets company standards throughout the manufacturing process through inspections, audits, and corrective action ownership; protect proprietary information by ensuring strict adherence to all BPRs and SOPs.
