The Manufacturing Supervisor will supervise a shift of workers building subassemblies and units. This role involves communicating with lead workers, planners, and others to review job status and priorities, and facilitating a smooth transition of work and products between shifts and among work groups. The supervisor will review product prints, material lists, and bills of materials to determine production methods and identify needs and requirements. Key responsibilities include anticipating, following up on, and resolving problems, material shortages, and equipment repairs. The role also involves estimating personnel needs, assigning work to meet objectives, and managing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and improve staff. Other duties may be assigned.
