The Manufacturing Supervisor will coordinate and provide technical, quality, and production leadership to an assigned team to meet quality, schedule, and cost goals. This role involves supporting Team Leaders with decision-making in process improvement and production, managing resources (manpower, machines, methods), and facilitating the flow of hardware through the manufacturing process. The supervisor will also support process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns, and reduce manufacturing losses. Administrative duties include managing timecards, labor vouchers, self-audits, absence reviews, and missing time corrections. The role requires coordinating first-line activities to ensure production schedules, customer satisfaction, and quality standards are met. Additionally, the supervisor will coach and counsel team members on performance and development, practice sound human relations, analyze and diagnose machine and tooling problems, and ensure the highest safety levels in the plant. Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is expected, along with mentoring the team in safety, quality, and productivity improvements. This position requires the ability to support a 24/7 operation, including training on first shift and supporting other shifts for coverage as needed.
