About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Supervisor to join our El Paso team and play a pivotal role in achieving production schedules aligned with cost, quality, and lead time objectives. This supervisor will manage 20 employees on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in manufacturing processes, team leadership, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, showcasing the ability to navigate the intricacies of production environments.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, indicating a commitment to optimizing processes and eliminating waste.
• Prior manufacturing leadership experience (leading a sizable team), demonstrating leadership acumen.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with teams and stakeholders.
• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing for the identification of challenges and implementation of solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.

• Organize and address the training needs of teams to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a continuous learning environment.

• Lead, train, and mentor the supervisor’s team of the facility, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards through regular inspections and adherence to quality control processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, performance reports, and any incidents, reporting findings to upper management.
