About The Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor, Batch Plant oversees cost, schedule, safety, and quality for a designated area of the operation. The role uses leadership and organizational skills to deliver high-quality output and meet deadlines established by project schedules, superintendent direction, or independent judgment. The supervisor receives general guidance on work priorities and has substantial latitude for independent decision-making. Requirements

• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in a union environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, manufacturing, or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize manufacturing productivity.
• Study, suggest, and assist with implementing improvements to the manufacturing process.
• Develop and mentor staff for potential career advancement.
• Coordinate work and schedules with other departments as needed.
• Review and study all drawings for designated projects.
• Assist with preplan form setup and form changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
