About The Position

This role is responsible for the first-line direction of hourly employees in the Digital Print Area. The supervisor will review production schedules, material, and manpower resources, assigning employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and attain output requirements. This position involves informing employees of production and material problems and coordinating with support groups to resolve issues affecting schedules. The supervisor will also participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures, and will maintain various reports, records, and production documentation.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with customers (effective communication and partnership to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction), crews (build effective working relationships to lead, engage and hold accountable), and other departments (working across boundaries with a holistic approach).
  • Demonstrated willingness to hold self and others accountable for individual and team business results and behaviors. This includes ensuring an inclusive work environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be proficient with computer programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Digital printing industry is desired.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, team building and communications skills are a must.

Responsibilities
