You will assist production in resolving quality and equipment issues to maintain product standards for customers. You will leverage available resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment, technical, and personnel issues, while proactively developing team capability through skills training to sustain production performance. You will lead, coordinate, and execute comprehensive training programs within the area, ensuring employees are fully qualified in their roles. You will emphasize safety, quality standards, and operational procedures to maintain compliance and a safe, efficient work environment. You will approve and close production reports to ensure accuracy, while training employees on proper reporting processes and accountability standards (where applicable). You will ensure administrative processes such as audit standards, vacation planning, and overtime are implemented, documented, and understood through clear communication and training. You will identify, document, and help resolve safety and ergonomic concerns, using these opportunities as learning moments to reinforce safe behaviors. You will complete incident reports and ensure corrective actions are communicated and understood to maintain a closed-loop safety process. You will continuously monitor housekeeping standards and reinforce expectations through routine coaching and training to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. You will respond appropriately to emergency situations and ensure employees are trained and prepared for emergency response protocols. You will administer corrective action, as needed, while focusing on development, accountability, and behavioral improvement through coaching and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Engineering / Technical or Operations, Safety, Quality, Supply Chain or Business discipline
  • Two (2) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), with the ability to effectively deliver training content and facilitate learning across diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment, including collaboration on training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Previous experience in supervision of direct hourly reports
  • Ability to engage and develop your team, aligning training programs and learning objectives to broader strategic goals.
  • Ability to drive and influence positive changes through structured training, coaching, and reinforcement of best practices.
  • Professional certifications in training, learning, or instructional design such as Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Training Industry certifications, or equivalent credentials.
  • Experience applying adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE), and learning management systems (LMS) to develop and deliver effective training programs.
