About The Position

The Training Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, coordinating, and administrating high quality training for personnel. Primary focus on gas operations training needs for personnel. Provide classroom and hands-on instruction on topics associated with the construction and maintenance of gas distribution systems necessary for achieving skill proficiency and maintaining job qualifications. Conduct planned field assessments to ensure that Ameren Illinois Gas Operations meet or exceed the requirements of the Gas O&M Plan and Safety Standards. Supporting Safety, Operator Qualification, Gas Systems Excellence and Gas Quality Assurance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with minimum of 2 years' experience; or Associate's degree with minimum of 4 or more years' experience; or Minimum of 6 years' experience in lieu of degree.
  • Competency using computer applications, including Microsoft Office 365
  • Ameren competencies: Think Customer, Engage Respectfully, Foster Collaboration, Deliver Results, Continuously Improve, and Be Strategic.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the Gas O&M Plan, National Fuel Gas Code, DOT 192 Code and Illinois Admin Code preferred.
  • Competency using various computer applications, including Maximo, Click Mobile/Schedule etc.
