About The Position

Isola is hiring a Manufacturing Specialist for the Laminate department at its Chandler, Arizona facility. The role involves performing and cross-training in multiple skill-level A–D positions across departments, based on business needs. The specialist must support at least five manufacturing processes or skills: Press, Breakdown, Laminate Packing, Finish Cutting (using at least two different cutters), and Finish Inspection. The specialist may also support additional tasks and projects, provide coverage for PTO or absences, and meet labor needs driven by business demands.

The position is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday, plus every other Saturday. Overtime, including extended shifts and weekend work, is required. The stated compensation is $26 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• At least two years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift, with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds.
• For internal applicants: successful completion of the 90-day new-hire or newly transferred probationary period, unless otherwise approved by the employee’s direct supervisor.
• For internal applicants: good standing at the time of application; employees with an active Written Warning or Final Written Warning are not considered in good standing. Written Warnings remain active for six months from issuance.
• For internal applicants: meet ongoing workplace expectations, including satisfactory performance, conduct, attendance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
