Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years' experience working in a manufacturing or plant‑based environment, preferably within Taste, food, flavor, or other regulated manufacturing settings
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, end‑to‑end workflows, and operational data flows
  • Working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing context, including Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Materials Management (MM) modules
  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), electronic batch records, and shop‑floor data collection
  • Proficiency with data and analytics tools, including Power BI and Minitab for statistical analysis and performance insights
  • Technical programming and automation exposure, including C#, Visual Basic (VB) coding, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL Server and basic query writing
  • Exposure to cloud‑based platforms, data structures, or digital manufacturing architectures
  • Experience supporting audits, change control, and compliance in regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, map, and document current‑state and future‑state manufacturing and business processes across Taste operations, quality, supply chain, engineering, and maintenance
  • Identify process inefficiencies, manual workarounds, compliance gaps, and variability, driving practical and scalable solutions
  • Lead process standardization efforts using IFF global templates, digital manufacturing standards, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, and training materials
  • Translate operational and business needs into clear functional requirements for digital manufacturing and quality systems
  • Support site usage of SAP modules including Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Materials Management (MM), along with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Act as a key liaison between site teams, Taste stakeholders, global digital teams, and system integrators
  • Embed safety, quality, traceability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance requirements into process and system design
