About The Position

The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and sanitation of plant production equipment and facility operations. This role leads and develops the sanitation team while ensuring a safe, clean, and food-safe environment that supports efficient production and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
One year of sanitation experience.
One year of leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of sanitation experience.
Two or more years of leadership experience.
Bilingual skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, including HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and SQF standards.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, coach, develop, and evaluate sanitation team members.
Oversee daily sanitation activities for production equipment and facility areas.
Conduct safety audits, participate in safety meetings, and address unsafe conditions.
Complete and maintain accurate production and employee reporting, including timesheets.
Troubleshoot sanitation issues and implement effective solutions.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives and a quality-first culture.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
