About The Position

The Technician Sanitation General is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining production and common areas to support a safe, clean, and food-safe manufacturing environment. This role performs sanitation duties in accordance with established guidelines and specifications. This is a 3rd shift position (generally between 10:30pm to 7:30am).

Requirements

Ability to learn and follow sanitation procedures.
Ability to learn and safely use chemicals utilized in food manufacturing environments.
Ability to learn proper waste disposal and trash handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, tools, footbaths, drains, and other work spaces.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for materials used in production areas.
Foam, scrub, and rinse production floors, common areas, and restrooms.
Maintain the cleanliness of offices and facility common areas.
Track and update sanitation logs and cleaning records.
Monitor cleaning supply inventory and request replenishment as needed.
Maintain inventory of PPE, chemicals, paper products, soap, trash bags, and other sanitation supplies.
Follow established sanitation, safety, and food manufacturing procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
