About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Quality Technician for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more. As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Basic comprehension of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in computer knowledge and typing skills required
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ Years Licensed Electrical Apprentice, preferred
  • Basic Knowledge of Electrical installations, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Verify Quality Standards from contractor drawings.
  • Implementing industry and company best practices during inspections.
  • Ensure the Quality of Product does not waver, regardless of schedule or cost impact.
  • Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standard of work possible.
  • Filling out task related documentation.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or service delivery process.
  • Documentation of Inspections, including reports and logs.
  • Ensure company assigned tool and assets are in good condition.
  • Preparation of daily/weekly progress reports.
  • Hands on tool use for Quality Inspections.
  • Keep emphasis on the product and services being the highest standard of Quality achievable.
  • Conduct layout and coordination to assist in sequencing of all inspections for production team.
  • Verify the correct product is being used during the installation process.
  • Additional duties as required.
