About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Technician at a milk plant, you will help ensure the quality and safety of products. The role includes inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, conducting tests to verify compliance with quality standards, documenting findings, reporting issues, and implementing corrective actions. This position provides LOA coverage and may be extended; the posting also notes the possibility of conversion to full-time employment.

The schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Candidates must be open to overtime if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to work the specified shift and occasionally on weekends if required.
• Must be open to overtime if needed.

Nice To Haves

• Additional relevant certifications are a plus.
• 1–2 years of previous experience in quality assurance or a similar role in food production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished milk products.
• Inspect production processes regularly to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in internal audits and assist with external audits as needed.
• Record and analyze data and prepare reports on quality metrics.
• Help develop and execute quality improvement initiatives.
• Document findings, report issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
