About The Position

The Manufacturing Project Coordinator supports various Manufacturing Services projects from initial request for quotation through to completion and customer invoicing. Works closely with the OEM business and cross-functional teams to help coordinate schedules, ensure requirements are understood, and assist in keeping projects on track. Communicates effectively with internal teams such as sales, purchasing, warehouse, production, and logistics to help ensure customer expectations are clearly communicated and met.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred; or the equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, quoting, or sales support; experience with electrical products or utility systems a plus.
  • General understanding of product types and applications is helpful.
  • Ability to read basic drawings and interpret technical information with guidance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP, or other ERP experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn technical product information and industry terminology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy and service.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with electrical products or utility systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists in reviewing contract specifications, drawings, sales orders, and related documents to help identify requirements.
  • Coordinates with internal teams to help ensure tasks are scheduled and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supports purchasing and logistics in acquiring and tracking materials and supplies.
  • Helps research supplier options and may assist in maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Prepares and formats quotations and proposals under guidance from senior team members.
  • Assists in documenting and improving manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Uses material management tools to track product availability and escalate issues as needed.
  • Verifies sales order pricing accuracy and supports resolution of payment or billing issues.
  • Tracks assigned project progress and supports timely completion.
  • Helps troubleshoot routine issues and communicates with team members to find solutions.
  • May assist with gathering vendor quotes or delivery information to support cost-effective sourcing.
  • May support Customer Financial Services in resolving basic customer billing or documentation issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
