The Estimator drives commercial growth and margin optimization by developing accurate, competitive cost estimates and pricing strategies for complex manufacturing projects. Operating at the intersection of commercial, finance, engineering, and operations, this role evaluates data to model profitability, assess production variables, and ensure timely, high-quality quotes that align with company goals. The ideal candidate maintains quoting tools and databases, monitors market benchmarks, and collaborates across departments to provide evidence-based pricing recommendations and continuously improve commercial workflows. Success in this role requires strong professional communication, objective analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics. The ideal candidate will constructively evaluate data, challenge operational assumptions, and provide evidence-based recommendations to ensure accuracy and alignment across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Finance, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, pricing analysis, or a related technical or analytical role.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including familiarity with assemblies and fabrications.
  • Strong professional communication skills.
  • Objective analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
