About The Position

The Manufacturing Program Manager is responsible for End-to-End Manufacturing Engineering Leadership of a Vehicle Line at Ford Motor Company. The role leads a multi-functional team (Stamping, Body, Paint, Final Assembly) from Architecture Development through Launch at the Assembly Plant Location(s). Early in the Product Development phases, the position implements Manufacturing requirements into the Architecture selection process that enable Design for Manufacturing. Virtual Manufacturing tools are then used to deliver Product/Process compatibility and early validation of robust and efficient designs of Product, Tooling and Facilities. At physical build stage, the role leads the Manufacturing Engineering team during prototype builds at our Pilot Facility and then transitions to Launch at the Production Assembly Plant(s). The Manufacturing Program Manager is responsible for delivering all Manufacturing Engineering requirements on-time, while meeting Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives. Requirements

  • Manufacturing Engineering Leadership
