About The Position

Candidate will be the Manufacturing Project Manager supporting multiple concurrent projects for the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors product line. Responsibilities include managing schedules, proposal and cost account responsibility, manpower planning, identifying and mitigating risks, upholding configuration control, and reporting within Production Operations, IWSS. Will represent Operations as a primary and lead interface to the line of business program management, engineering, sourcing, quality, finance and other functions as required. Develop manufacturing program plans and schedules to ensure successful program completion with correct staffing levels. Drive problem resolution by understanding program goals, tradeoffs and schedules. Conduct reviews during the manufacturing cycle to identify issues, develop work around plans to mitigate risk and to implement process improvements. Coordinate shipping information with Program Manager and communicate to packaging/shipping organization. Coordinate make/buy policy and support implementation plans. Participate in proposal preparation for new business and for scope changes on the existing program. This position may require occasional travel for customer and vendor interface. This role will work 25-30 per week.

  • Control Account Manager (CAM) training and certification must be achieved within 90 days of job start
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship required for security clearance
