About The Position

Georgia Nut is hiring reliable, detail-oriented people for production, packaging, and warehouse teams. The role supports daily manufacturing operations by operating equipment, monitoring production processes, and moving raw ingredients and finished goods while maintaining product quality and safety standards. Work takes place in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work an assigned 8-hour or 12-hour shift on any day of the week.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a repetitive-motion environment.
• Material Handler positions require experience operating sit-down and stand-up reach truck equipment.
• Basic math, reading, and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to learn equipment and job duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with technology.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or related industrial environments.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manually lift products into and out of production equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot assigned production or packaging equipment.
• Use sit-down and stand-up reach truck equipment to move raw ingredients and finished goods.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety rules, and quality guidelines.
• Complete production logs, documentation, and inventory records accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and promptly communicate concerns.
