About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Production Associate in Rainsville, Alabama. As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. You will operate coil winding machines and manufacturing equipment, assemble, shape, bend, cut, sand, solder, and prepare transformer components. You will use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools, operate robotic welding equipment, and perform potting operations using epoxy and silica sand. You will safely move materials using lift-assist equipment, support inventory counts and production activities, and meet productivity, quality, and efficiency goals. You will maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards and perform additional manufacturing duties as needed. This is a full-time opportunity with a schedule that starts with training on 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and then transitions to 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
